8/24/12 beach finds

I got out early for 5 hours today. 2 ships spikes, 1 .55 caliber musket ball, 1 .40 caliber musket ball,1 bail seal,some propeller shards,5 lbs of sinkers and net weights,and a remington peters 20 guage shell end. I just cannot believe I am still hauling lead out of here.

That is a lot of sinkers!

Maybe sell them back to the fisherman?

If that's your thing .. finding fishin' stuff .. that's ok ;; if you didn't already realize , the really good stuff is lost on the bathing beaches . HH

the musket balls and the ships spikes are more my speed. right now I am just looking for positive identification of the shipwreck they are from.
