I got to the beach about 15 minutes earlier than usual. Surprising, considering I had to stop off and get a new pair of gloves. Gotta love those self check-out lines. Anyway, hunted from about 9:45 a.m to 5:30 p.m. I found $6.07 consisting of: 17 quarters
10 dimes
8 nickels
42 pennies
No jewelry this time, but the big one is coming, I can just feel it. HH Bill

You are doing well just getting out and doing it.

Personally I won't shop or use the self check-out registors. I believe in hiring people to do the work and get paid. I also won't bring my cart back into the store. Those people in turn spend their paychecks other places and the money goes around till someone breaks the chain. LOL.....

Sandman, I understand your position. I've talked to the employees that were posted there to monitor the machine. They get paid the same to stand there to help people operate the machine when they have a problem. Believe me, if the worker had a problem with it, so would I. HH Bill
