A couple of weeks ago, I stopped into a small town bank and, get this, asked for half dollars. It was my 4th stop on an impromptu road trip. I only had $187 of seed money, so I grabbed 18 rolls. I knew they had more, but I couldn't swing a bigger pickup until after dumping. I found a 1953 B.F. and 1943 WL. I was sick that I had likely left some behind.
Today, I got a chance to revisit smallville and I wasn't alone. I had a pocket full of FRN and was ready for any answer to my question "how many can you sell me?" It was $620 bringing the total from this bank to $800. The teller said that somebody use to buy boxes regularly, but left them hanging with 2 boxes and they'd been carrying them on the books for 2.5 years. He was thrilled to be rid of them!
There were enders.
There were 18 90% (including the 2 from before)
There were 8 40%
There was 1 NIFC
This haul nearly doubled my inventory of 90% Ag (I've only been at it a few months, I typically find many more 40% than 90%).
