Haven't got a clue, but it's a nice looking ring...
You might try a GOOGLE search for some " Silver Makers Marks " and look for the lettering.

Is the C got a circle around it? Also in what order are the #'s and letters? My thinking is copyright is 1988.

I got a lady's pendant that had a "c" in a circle and I never knew they put copyrights on that sort of thing.

Not positive on circled C. Just an educated guess since that's the normal meaning.

88 JE in circle and C in circle. I checked some silver hallmark sites and nada!
But it was a good idea thank you. Doesnt really mater now my wife took it from me lol.
