I decided to get back in the CRH game with a hunt of three VERY rural towns here in Indiana. I've had luck with the out-of-the-way banks. I pulled up Google Maps and searched for the banks. Here are the results:

It would have been a good idea. I didn't take it that far. I was just making the connection between Podunk and Gene. I figured most of these kids hadn't even been born at the time.

by the way I like your strategy. I have been researching towns on my road trips and hit the towns with the biggest elderly populations. you wouldn't believe some of the stories I have heard from the tellers!
