The day started with my alarm going off at 5:45 am to go hunting !!! I had picked out two locations , one was a school and the other a park I had never hunted before . The school field had given up silver coins years ago , today nothing but clad
. After a good hour I decided to move on to the park . This park is in an area that dates to the 1940's so I was hoping for some old silver . After a good 30 minutes all I had was more clad , but then it happened
. Right in the middle of the soccer field I got a sweet sounding +28 at 3 inches . When I pulled back the plug there it was , my first ever in 18 plus years of hunting a platinum ring
!!!! I have been hoping to find one for a long time . My hunting buddy Kevin just found his third last week . This one weighs 11 grams and is 950 PT / 750 18k GOLD on the edge of the ring ! This one is a keeper
. Total clad for 2 hours was $8.63 .
