So, here's today's finds from about and hour in the park. Spend a good time searching mulch in the kiddo area. This is prob my 4th trip metal detecting. 97cents and 2 charms. Practice makes better!

That tot lot change adds up and the digging doesn't get much easier! You'll be surprised what you come across in those tot lots, including rings from mothers....!! Keep at it!

Thanks, I am really enjoying the incredible amount of info on this site! Got another spot picked out for Wednesday - possibly over 100yrs old. There's a chance I'll have a few hrs after work - wish me luck!

Don't give up. That next park could hold lotsa coins and goodies. It doesn't matter if it's been hunted regularly or not.
I went to a park the other day that I was sure was cleaned out. To my surprise, I made the most coin haul I've had to date. All of it was out in the grass and around the volleyball court.
What machine do you have I use the 250 right now, and it is a coin magnet.
