Today I found what I think is a sleeper. A2silver.webp Each little silver thing weighs 2 grams on my inexpensive scale, and one was missing, so I have 98 grams of sterling silver that I paid $25 for. Each silver piece has a tiny little airplane on both sides, so small I can't see them without a magnifying glass, and frankly that seems kind of dumb to me, but what do I know. My question is, would I be better off selling on ebay, or just taking melt value and not mess with ebay fees etc. At todays prices, I should just about double my money for melt, but could wipe out my profit with ebay fees. Actually I haven't sold a thing on ebay for years, so don't really know what the fees would be. A1silver.webp A3silver.webp A4silver.webp

If you sell on Ebay, that would be your best chance of getting a higher price from several different types of collectors.

If not, I'd contact the local Radio Control flying club because of the flying theme and because that hobby is a bit expensive, they would have the money and members to buy and divide the set among themselves by favorite plane the like, built, or fly...

Ill buy them from ya if your interested. A family member builds all types of RC planes! That has Christmas present written all over it. I'm serious too.

Nice buys and looks like you already have a buyter BosnMate. Thanks for sharing...

Take a look at e-bay in completed listings!
There was a set of 47 that sold for a chunk of change, a best
offer was accepted with an asking price of $120. They are listed
as silver airplane stamps. Really cool item that I would have a hard
time parting with.

Nice score for 35 bucks..

Nice set too bad it's missing one. Believe it or not those will more than likely command a good premium on ebay. I would start the listing out at no less than 4 times what you paid for it ($100). Even if you haven't sold on ebay for a long time. I found 2 single ones that sold for $5.55 each w/free shipping. I found a complete set with 2 watchers for $150 in Canada.

Yea I think the boys are right on this one, ebay that puppy

That will sell for a much higher premium than for what its worth in melt, i would do a straight up buy it now auction on this one..

Even with your ebay fees you will make out good on the item....... I don't worry about ebay fees... For i always make more on ebay on most items than i do at flea mkt's ........ For on ebay you have so many people to view your item....
