Fun hunt! I know people who hate to have a great find right off the bat, but I'll take great finds at any point!

Nice one Jeff. I hope I can continue the trend of getting a couple LC's per year. None so far. You have a lot of wide open areas down in Skook.

HOOK IS A VICTORIAN LACE HOOK - used to pull the laces to tighten as you went up on the boot - actually think it was used to quickly untie them

"sorry a bit Pic Heavy"

Why would anyone apologize for too many pictures. You should only apologize for too many words.....

Good your still teaching the youngers.

Is that an old spark plug I see in the pan?

A very nice assortment of finds. And the photos were interesting indeed.Take another crack at those spots, there should be more.

Button hooks have a large open hook. They were used for fastening shoe buttons. Slightly smaller hooks were made for fastening glove buttons. The hook catches when trying to pull the yarn through a stitch. You may find these with the same (and sometimes elaborate) handles as tatting and crochet hooks as they were included in Ladies Necessities.

When I bend to re-tie my Shoes, My Gut says No !:tongue3:
that's too far to reach !

I usually have to Grasp for breath after. I call it my Sit-up :icon_thumright:
Lucky for me , being My shoes have both laces & a Zipper on the sides
I don't need to do it daily

If you stop eatting grubs when you dirt fish that gut will not be in the way

Ya know....every time I see your title, I ......

Just sit right back and remember a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the Skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour. A three hour tour.....

Lol! One of these days I may find them on one of the Boston harbor Islands! They have been lost for so long,...I see them daily struggling to survive (i'd like to join them).

You two have quite the song fest going on! Lol!
