A very unexpected coin appeared on my VERY short hunt after work. I had 15 minutes so I chose a 20x20 foot area to grid. I decided to dig a very strange signal 12-32/36/39 and choppy. Honestly i thought it was an IHP. It was deep but as I dug the signal improved to 12-41. About 12" down out pops a Greenie. A quick wipe exposed the cleanest KG I've found.

1734

A Roosie and silver pendant and I was outta there. 15 minutes!

The last photo has a Half cent for size purposes, Vino.

Happy hunting
Steve

Very well done Scrappy. The KG is really sweet. GL!

You guys are finding all sorts of coins up your way. Please send some down south. October can't come soon enough .....

15 minutes well spent:icon_thumright: great to see a cleaner kg:occasion14: I have a spot like that where you grid it but you always find something:rocks:

This site is turning out to be like that too. Digging strange deep tones is paying off big!

very cool 15 min you had

Were only killing it up here because you don't live here. We are all grateful. Lol

That one for sure is in great shape- congrats!

Beautiful finds and a great hunt.

I LOVE it when you hit something really good really fast.

My first day in this hobby I hit on a 10 wedding band in the first 10-15 minutes out. It was beginner's luck I guess but because of that first hunt I've been hooked ever since.

I was beginning to believe it was always that easy. But we leave and learn right??

Congrats on a fantastic hunt in record time.

A week into hunting I found an 1802 Draped bust LC. I quickly learned that research was the key and dumb luck runs out fast. You had asked me about old maps. Check your local library, library of congress, sanborn maps, and university collections.
