A bit of .925 and my first Susan B. Anthony dollar coin

Back to the beach again at low tide

Managed to recover a .925 earring with a large stone (stone is pretty, but of no value).

Also a nice strong high sound gave up the dollar coin; my first of its kind.

Hi Boatlode,

I checked the clear - colored stone with my Diamond/Moissanite tester which proved negative for both; I think it is just glass.

That is great about the Susan B. I found my first about a month ago. Saw it in the scoop and thought that's one huge quarter.

I would have said I have only found a couple dollar coins before this year but Lookindown and I have pulled over 20 dollar coins from one small area on a beach this year. Go figure
