I was shown this rock, at first I thought just chert/flint but after seeing other angles I’m a bit stumped, my best guess is some type of horn coral with a sponge growing on it. Then it was all replaced with silica minerals... you can see the layers on the possible coral part and the little pores on the sponge looking part but I’m just guessing at this point... any better or correct explanations are welcome
