a bunch of brass mystery items found today

I found all these items today. They are all made of brass.the piece that looks kinda like a hand rail bracket is baffling. Its hinged i have never found anything like it. any ideas on any of it? the little rectangle with the two holes reminds me of a heel plate because of the counter sunk holes. but it seems to small. Let me know what you think.

The dish looking one with the hole in the center is a bell. Likely part of an old doorbell.
