I have been to this one site in the neighborhood that has given finds of a huge variety, ranging from the late 1700s to contemporary America. There are three trash dumps throughout this woods, ranging from the late 1800s to the 1950s, a large cement basement foundation, and a ton of rock walls and even remains of what were likely small stone buildings and animals pens. I have been to this place at least a few dozen times and had learned that the cement structure was nearly void of finds and that the areas near the dumps were more promising. I have recovered about a dozen flat buttons from this place and had thought that I had cleaned it out. BUT that was with the ACE 250. Now with the AT Pro I planned to take on the woods yet again. I figured everywhere was fair game, so I started by the cement foundation. Suddenly, I started getting faint signals mixed with iron, and began to pull flat buttons. I thought "Great!" The only thing curious...I found as many flat buttons today as I had ever found in the years prior, all within a 20ft area no less. Then I found my favorite find: two thirds of a great colonial shoe buckle. I'll try to find the rest next time. But until then I must advise that as soon as you upgrade your machine (hopefully to a Garrett), go to your old sites and give it another look. I guarantee you'll find some treasure.

10 flat buttons in like two hours.

BIG ASS DANDY

A mystery...maybe a cattle tag??

Gotta find that other third.
