A Chip Off The Ole' Block

Here's a couple of points one my sons found last weekend after church. They both started showing some interest in going with me last summer, and really have the fever now. Anyhow, I told him I'd post them for him as he is especially proud of the serrated point, I told him I thought it might be a Kirk, but I'm positive someone around here will ID it for sure, enjoy......

Nice finds! There's nothing better than getting out and hunting pointy rocks with your kids. People should do alot more of that, encouraging future generations while spending quality time with your loved ones. Can you make out very much on the base on that right hand point? The reason I ask, the blade itself sure does ring Decatur - I'd almost bet money on it.

I would say Decatur as well. Not at all a common form. Nice serrations as well!
