A Coin Star customer owned me today.

My display rack is right next to the Coin Star in most of my stores, this is a good thing as we all know. My last stop this afternoon I peeked in the chute, to no avail. A few minutes later a scruffy looking dude shows up with a fat canvass bag, ready to be dumped. Naturally I slow down my delivery, taking my sweet time...listening to the sweet music of rejected goodies.
Clink....plink...clink......... clink.....

By now I am practically drooling....I heard them...foreign? silver? omg!!!! he's done!...and takes a step back...yes!!! another step....stops....looks....stoops...reaches....NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!

He grabs the ones that got away, looks at them...and pockets them.


Just then, he turns to look at me... I smile a bit, nod my head to him as guys do, then he says ...quote: "Glad those didn't go through"

I Ask if there was any funny looking ones. Then if I can look. I don't really care... Most say yes, and I'll make a quick conversation about them if it's nothing interesting but if it's silver I'll try to buy them! Worked at Walmart. But only the kids could understand what I said!
