I only had 3 hours to detect this afternoon as I am drop instiller for my wifes eyes as she has had 2 cataract surgeries in the past 2 weeks. I can't get too far away so I tried a 2 block away permission that isn't very old. Found 1 quarter, 29 memorials, 3 dimes, 4 nickels, 2 wheats, 1911 and no date, and a 1979 Canadian dime that looked like silver to my machine. I think there is a little silver on the edge, but I don't know what the rest of the composition consists of. An old spoon that was silver plate and I can't make out the markings on it. An old knife that I think is unusual. It looks like a small gun. I think in its former life it may have been some kind of switchblade, as it appears that the blade would fold into the handle. There is also a spring inside the handle that would make it a switchblade? Happy hunting.
