Today I stayed close to home, 1.3 miles away at a hillside above a busy intersection. I finished with 1895 & 1900 Indians, 1909 VDB, 1902 Dime, and 1893O Quarter. I also found a few unbroken bottles. The best is this McDonald PA stamped Coca Cola bottle. Sometimes pay dirt isnt far away. Good luck out there.

Great job! Still looking for my first barber this year.

You had a great day buddy. That 1909 V.D.B. is a hard penny to score. 27,995,000 struck and worth about $15.00. I have only found one that I remember since 2008. Congrats on that nice Lincoln, Indians, and Barber dime & quarter. A nice old Coke bottle to top off your day. Well done.:headbang:

That's my first VDB, it feels good to finally find one.

I recovered my "official" first one last year. It ranks as my best and favorite Lincoln penny ever dug. Now if I could remember where I put it?:dontknow::laughing7:

Is yours lost in the box? Haha Seems like you have a big collection. I've also managed to find the scarcer 1932 wheatie earlier this year.

Great hunt. Lots of oldies. I need to find another close productive site like yours. Congrats!!

Thanks man, yeah it's tough finding good spots near home. I'm making an attempt tmrw to find a foundation in a wooded area less than a mile from where I was today. Hopefully it's not all weeds.

Probably a few inches away from me right at my computer desk! I can loose something attached to my body with a tether!:laughing7:

Haha I think you're the first one that's ever said that. All negative comments about my avatar previously.

Thanks, I've had luck with Barbers the past month (2 dimes, 2 quarters, 3 different locations). I will admit that I scratched this quarter with my trowel but you cant tell by the picture. Killed my buzz a bit but I know it happens to everyone.

Congrats on some nice coins.

Congrats on the nice old finds.

That Barber quarter would have made my month! Well done sir.
