Eagle Button and a Sash Buckle?

Got out for a while this afternoon and found an eagle coat button and this small tongue of a buckle in an area where I've found mini balls before. It's light weight and stamped brass, looks like a small ladies or boys sash buckle, what are your thoughts?

That button looks like it's in great shape! Not sure if I can help with the buckle. Maybe from a pair of overalls
