Hunting in a field along the river. Had CW activity and troops crossed the river heading to a plantation on the other side. There were also a handful of old houses along here pre and post CW. 78EA5B1F-05DD-4CA3-A77B-09E0F5DA6F0A.webp740BED20-DCA8-42D3-B14D-8631A706EA60.webp
Found this thing. I think it’s a fitting of some sort but wanted to make sure before I tossed it.

This reminds me of a piece of a harmonica reed but it’s a lot thicker than the ones we’ve found before?

I think this is lead? Not sure. It’s heavy for its size.

And this odd thing.
Thanks!

Top looks like a gas torch nozzle and the bottom appears to be a part of an old wrench.

The top is a compression fitting, on an old gas/fuel line. Third item looks like a piece of a Babbitt bearing

I'd say that #2 is an accordion reed. Reed organ reeds are often IDd as accordian reeds, but those have only a single reed per piece. Harmonicas and accordians (and concertinas) work on both the blowing and drawing of air, and so have two opposing reeds per piece.
