I got out for a couple hours this afternoon to the site that I found the cut silver Spanish. I slowed down and really concentrated on a smaller area than usual. Not too disappointing a hunt. The frame was bent in quarter and I was able to field repair it without breaking it. The Roman Centurion spoon frag is about as cool as a spoon frag can be! It was a fun hunt but I know there are more killer finds there. To be continued...

Thanks...not so sure that it's a buckle...some kind of frame...
 

When you are pulling relics like that, another great find is not far behind ! I really like the spoon frag too ! MaineRelic
 

I got as pretty cool pewter spoon handle a while back with some birds and geometric designs on it. The good ones never are whole are they! Pretty sweet digs! :icon_thumright:
