A couple Mercs...

Was suppose to meet up with Gonebeeping for some door knocking, but he was not feeling well. Decided to hit a local hunted out park before the Bama game.

Only found 7 coins in an hour and a half, BUT two of them were Mercs!

Silver #61 was 1944 Merc and #62 was a 1940 Merc. Both were big surprises from absolutely hammered park.

62 put me past last year's total even though I missed 4 months digging with a bad back.

Congrats on the two mercs. Last time I hit a "hunted out" park I found a 1903 Barber dime. Funny how this hobby works.

Very nice!! Funny thing, I found 2 Mercs in the same hole last year, actually touching...and they were a 40 and a 44, like yours! A silver makes for a good day...well two!?...a GREAT day...congrats..ddf
