Met up with Park Pirate this morning and mentioned to him I would be happy if I could to dig a couple of indian head cents. So right off the bat, I get a decent hit around an old tree and pull out a nice 1864 indian head cent. As usual, I scan the dirt with my X1 probe before refilling the hole and bang, in the dirt I pull out a second indian head cent. This one was an 1895. Over the next couple hours all I dug was a pile of clad and a single wheat cent. Expected to at least dig a couple more keepers but I guess I cursed myself by saying I would be happy with 2 indian heads. Guess what, I wasn't ! Brings my total to 14 Indian head cents dug in a little more than a month.
