a couple of lc's to brighten a rainy day pics added
Hello All
been reading about all these great finds the last couple of months. I have been on the dl had knee problems that led to surgery. Got the ok to go md'ing. cold rainy day sounds good to me. Went to a foundation i had hit last spring. got the usual iron, nails, then found a silver thimble with a 7 stamped on it. size # ? looking for a makers mark. just before leaving i got a mixed signal dug down saw a bottle. reached for it and my hand touched a round edge picked it up and it was a 1845 lc in good shape, passed the coil and got a another big signal found a 1851 lc in decent shape. at this point its raining pretty good. i'll definately be going back pics to follow hh and good luck to all
