A Couple of Sad Sights

[Iron Patch]

First was waking up to snow, and the 2nd sad sight was seeing my detectors in their resting place for the next 4 months.

Another good year though, lots of new sites and plenty of old finds.


PS... All I want for Christmas is one more hunt!

sorry dude that is sad. If you get down to Va I'll let you hunt one of my spots. You might not find much but at least you'll get a chance to get out. Hoep you all have an early thaw

I know what you mean IP, our snow is supposed to be here later this afternoon. I've already been out back with the Lesche to see if there is a chance. Nope, the ground is rock solid! Sad seeing your machines laid up but the only sure thing about a four month hibernation is they will come back plenty hungry. You had a stellar year! JJ

We still have hope, no frost yet and the snow is suppose to change to rain. I think ploughed fields will be out, but there's one big grassy one I want to try anyway.

Considering how many we have dug here I don't think it will take you too long. Just make your first the twopence, much harder to cross off the list.
