Had a three day weekend so I loaded up the Treasure Wagon with my hunting buddies and we hit the road. Ran into a little frozen ground but overall it wasn't too bad. First good hit was a screaming 12-29 at 5 inches. To my suprise it turned out to be a 1944-P silver war nickel.
I checked the hole and there was nothing else in it. 12-29?
The next day I got a solid 12-45 at 5 inches and it was a very nice 1962-D Rosie.
Also got a couple of Wheaties and 48 clad coins totaling $3.34. Now about the thing! I got a 12-40 and I thought it would be another Wheatie but instead it was a copper thing. Please see the picture. If you know what it is please let me know. Thanks. Happy hunting to everyone!
