That's a nice improvement over the 250, Why would one not just leave the iron audio on all the time? Is there any advantage to not having it on?

If an area is just littered with iron objects, the iron audio becomes overwhelming after a short period of time. In those situations, I turn it off and just listen for some high tones indicating a good target.

Seems more stable that AT Pro, and id numbers don't jump around. I like it.

All of the Ace and AT detectors work amazing but the one complaint I have about them would be the cable connection ports. I'm sure some of you can agree that getting your fingers in there to either tighten or loosen the connections can be a pain. It would be nice if Garrett would manufacture their units so the ports are at a 30 or 45 degree angle. I feel this would make connections much, much easier. And since the main unit sits above the rod body, I don't think this would interfere with the cables touching the ground.

When is the release date ?

I wish they paid attention to what other companies came out with at the $400 price point. They definitely should have a GB on this 400. I think k it would be an awesome machine if they did that.

When is the release date ?

They said April 1 for the 400 and two weeks after the lower models will be released.

You have NEVER liked the AT PRO own up 2 it lol
