Went out to the corn field for a couple hours got a few targets but pickings were slim. The token says B.&P. with a 5 and on the back it says H.Baacke . also got a silver salt cover, what i think is an Army lapel button but not sure how to date it. I really like the old brass door knob but dont know the date of that either. Also an advertising thimble which says Bartlett Music Co. , a broken ring, a religious pendant and what looks like a button missing the shank and had 2 holes drilled in it to make a pendant i think.. Thanks for looking

Your collar-insignia dates from 1946 or later, because that is when the 223rd Infantry was formed. "On 5 August 1946, the 2nd Battalion, 185th Infantry was redesignated as the 223d Infantry Regiment."
