I really thought I had something this morning. It was still a little dark out and this just clanged in the scoop from shallow water at low tide. MADE IN CHINA:BangHead:
Found quite a few pieces that looked like gold but aren't... One small chain does test 10K. Missing from picture is 150 bottle caps left in the trash can at the beach.

Good Luck Out There..........

I'm sorry it was not Gold. Nothing more than bling. That's a real let-down.
I feel ya! You did good on the clad! Around here the best I can do is a couple wheat pennies today. A 1914 and a 1953 along with a "Casey Jones" overall button and what was left of a pocket watch back. Lots of iron at that old home site. It has rained here for days and the area has EMI also. Machine gun fire iron.. I know it sucks you did not get Gold, but it could always be worse(You could come here and scrape the bottom like I'm doing!)

Best of wishes to you and hope you find a dang hoard of silver

Wow that would’ve been a head turner!!! Congrats on the hunt though!!!

Wow, I am feeling your pain- that's looks incredible...

Very nice hunt, sorry it wasn't gold! :occasion14:

Next time and its still fun seeing the ring in the hole

Yeah, between the water, in my case the need for glasses, and sometimes the sun or lack of it, rings can look SO good in the scoop and turn to crap when you get to the car and can see them properly. It’s always heartbreaking. Better luck next time.
