The month of May got off to a nice start yesterday with another big copper. I was detecting along a hillside that was a ways off the nearest trail. The signal was solid, and repeating. The target appears to be a Draped Bust large cent (1796-1807). The obverse is a ok shape, but the date is obscured. The reverse of the coin is super crusty. Earlier in the day on that same trip I also managed a 1909 IHP. Two 100+ year old coins in one hunt...priceless!

Nothing wrong with a crusty copper as long as it is old. Nice work!!

Thats a great day I love those Coppers havent got one yet but they look awesome Good job on a great day I like hills I find most of my good coins on hills keep rippin Tommy
