I recently picked up this collection of artifacts from the family, who no longer wanted them. The collector lived in Western N.C. in the area of Nantahala River & Fontana Lake , built in 1944. Look these over & identify if you can. ENJOY
Lot of history buried with those dams.

Great men are remembered for their actions. My plan is to make a bunch of time capsules and toss them all over the place in the ocean and stuff. Then when people find them randomly in the distant future they will wonder "who was this nutcase who did this?" :D
 

A couple more pictures of his finds. One looks to be an unfinished piece of sinew. Hard to see how it survived as long as it has, unless he may have cut it.

I have an actual cliche wooden cigar box full of my dad's points from Snake/Columbia river areas. I plan to keep it just like that.
