A Farmhouse Ring

I found this sterling ring at an old farmhouse. Actually this ring was about the only thing I found there, but I'm happy with that! It's got that cool vintage look to it. The stone has a rainbow effect, like oil on water. I'm guessing it's shell or mother of pearl?

Thanks christoOOO. I found this with an XLT but can't remember what the VDI numbers were on it. I sold the detector or I would re-scan it.
