Howdy All. Hunted a new site tonite, a church grounds est c1900 still in use. Lots of modern clad coins back to 1961 but sadly no oldies. The ground was very hard, I think there has been some fill dirt added.
I did manage an old light fixture of some kind, an old light socket with "15" engraving, a UMC New Club No12 shot shell (pre 1911), 90 cents in clad going back to 1961, some common buttons, a curious pendant with "Ninth Year" engraving, and (the find of the evening) a play dime that says "Uncle Sam 1950 10 Play Dime" on one side and "Play Money Falsa Pecunia" on the other side.
Not my best hunt but not a skunk either.
Any ideas on the play money or the 9th Year thingy is appreciated.
Thanks for viewing and good luck this weekend to all.
