I saw that they have done some street work while I have been away on vacation. I took my detector down and was scratching at some trash last night and these popped out. The Sealtite jar might be a little rare! The ceramic one is hand thrown which is nice. It has a nice blueish tint. Maybe I can kind of save the labels on the inks with some clear sealer! The last picture are some bottles I brought back from the thrift stores and antique stores in the Nederlands! The star mineral bottle was only 1.00, and the others were inexpensive! Happy Hunting! The clay Star bottle especially is a beaut. Congrats

Nice digging. Need any help out there?

I guess backfill for a sidewalk would be one way to dispose of old bottles years ago .It looks like you found some one of a kind items if you where looking under an old sidewalk Very nice

Their used to be the old wooden boardwalks in some parts of the town, it seems like they put trash wherever they could back then. The bear keeps getting into mine! Thanks for the posts! I wish I needed help!

Hmmm never heard of a sidewalk tear out producing bottles. Cool finds. Jgas.

Nice finds and purchases! :occasion14:
