Good finds
I envy ya down under. Detecting there is the best in the world in my book. Every time I go there I get spoiled and looking at finds like that just bring back good feelings.
Keep it up~ there's a lot of history to be had.![]()
These 'bronze' series of coins in the right conditions can come up good, sadly not in our ploughed fields. Whats nice is it not only came out good but the 1881 had very little wear before loss.![]()
Yes, I have noticed most of my 1800's victorian coins come out better then the early 1900's Australian coins I have dug.
Check out this 1875 Victorian Penny.

I didn't even need to clean her, just washed the dirt off.
