A few CW finds

Got these today in west central Mississippi. 3 minies, 1 spherical musket ball, 2 cannon friction primers, 2 flat buttons, something that appears to be some kind of peep sight, and a piece of a harmonica

A good day. Was it a camp or a battle site? If it was a battle site there could have been artillery posted where you dug the primers. If so there should be concentrations of them around where each gun was posted. I've seen the round thing before but can't remember what the heck they are. I'm thinking they had something to do with an Enfield rifle but wouldn't swear to it.

The round hollow object that you found, I have also found at a campsite. I would really like to know what it is also. But anyway, great finds.

Nice finds! I see a left side washer for the lock plate off an Enfield and the "peep site" may be a concertina reed. Cool!
