a few eagles ,a few bullets ,some various C.W items

Well been a few weeks since my last post. Me and DHD hit a site a few weeks back in actually another state and well found some C.W goodies and also found some poison oak as well.. so spent a week scratching and itching . But this past Saturday rolled around so I got up hit DHD up and said lets hit it , but he was unable to break away for a dig so I went solo . I hit a place which we have had good luck at the past three times there . Did the routine hit to the door talking with the owner awhile and got the go ahead . Turned out to be a pretty decent dig . With some help on the ID of a few items from hero member "THECANNONBALLMAN" Here is what I scored , a final peice for a percussion cap box , two eagle buttons , a few .69 cal round balls , a few three ringers and a sharps bullet , a colonial era civilian shoe buckle a broken fuse peice to an artilery shell and washer for a springfield riffle . And also posted , some C.W lead from the out of state poison oak site .. So thanks for looking ! Oh and there is one other piece in need of a ID the square looking thing in the middle of one the pics it appears to be broken so I mite shot thecannonballman some pics for an ID.

This post has been on TNET FOR 6 FULL days and 94 views and not one single comment . Pieces of history recovered are worth a comment ... . I have to say I hang my head in disappointment for the first time from tnet .... You know I make it a habit to log on here and go through two sometimes three pages and if I come across a post that has no reply's I always take the time to write one to this person who took there time to get out there finds some things and then took there time to resize pictures ,maybe write a story and post for TNET members to read and see . A simple , way to go , or cool find to let the person know there finds are worth a commit and some encouragement ...

Congrats on awesome CW Relics! Don't be discouraged, I believe a lot of people are amazed of your finds but just don't respond. Also I am impressed with the way you posted your finds appreciating the history of the CW but I think it's hard to see the details in your great finds, keep em coming , I would love to get my coil over some finds like that !!!
