Here are photos of a few finds from another local site, sorta slim pickins around here again this spring.
I've only hunted this site for the last 5 years, and some trends are starting to be identified.
#125 is a typical heavy duty constricting stem point of ferruginous quartzite. Several similar examples have come from this site.
#126 a small patinated jasper Palmer/Kirk point with ground base, several of these have surfaced here too.
#127 thin jasper triangle, usually find a couple of these here each season.
#133 is my favorite from this site this year. I am thinking these are concave based Palmer-Hardaway variants. Unfortunately it has an ear or auricle missing. What remains of the base is heavily ground, and one side has a nice thinning chip removed, almost flute like. We don't really get many, if any, of the true Hardaway forms like found in the Carolina's, up here on the Delmarva, but it seems some of that influence might be seen in these little Palmer points with concave bases?

Nice finds, cools pics!

Really nice finds ..... I
Have had no luck in fields this year..... nice to see some local points

I love the the in situ pics !

Great stuff !

You are real lucky they still move the dirt for you when they plant. Its just about all stopped here. No plowed fields mean nothing is washing into the creeks so the hunt is very hard. I still have properties to look on but its getting harder to find a nice one. You did very well, rock
