Yesterday afternoon I was exploring an old carriage Rd in search of some cellar holes. In which I found eight in total. so next weekend I will be makeing a trip back with my deus. I did find some surface finds in what I think was an old barn foundation. The first bottle i found is a slug plate embossed Ruby sloe Gin. does anyone have any info on this bottle? The second bottle is my favorite it's a squat ten pin soda embossed Carl. H. Schultz New York. I also dug an early applied top Amber strap side flask. I always enjoy finding these. And last of all I dug a pipe that I have never seen before. Would this be considered a trade pipe? All in all it was a good day. Thanks for looking and the help. - Justin

I have 2 of those exact same pipes, both found while arrowhead hunting a field and creek area. Nice bottles!

Indeed it was a good day. That Carl Schultz is killer. I really like the embossing on that one. Keep us updated next weekend. Congrats and good luck

So I don’t have all the information you are looking for but I was reading page 1 of a 6 page thread on your bottle. Since the thread is so old (antique bottles.net), I can only access page 1 of 6 pages. Someone started a thread on a bottle like this one of and I think the patent was applied for in 1905 for Ruby Sloe Gin. I think the “N” could be the maker’s mark. I can’t positively say this info is correct because I couldn’t access the whole thread. This was just the information I got from page 1. Also, I think your bottle has a little value to it. Maybe someone on here can check it out in Kovel’s

Oh awesome thank you bass that's a heck of lot more information I could find on this bottle. I'm glad I took it because I was contemplating leaving it behind.
