A few finds

Been searching my uncles property in Cathy's Valley in California heard his wife lost her original wedding band out here years ago but many holes later never found it but found a few things. A gold cufflink, a neat San Francisco rail token, a 1940 Canadian penny someone had gold plated and holed, lots of change, some tool that had been lost and tons of trash.

It was nothing impressive just hammers, shovels, pocket knives my uncle lost over the many years living here. He was happy to get the hammer back guess it was a nice one he'd lost awhile back

The gold cufflink looks nice. I think the Scovill Manufacturing Company of Waterbury, Connecticut, produced San Francisco rail transportation tokens during the early 20th century. 1940 Canadian 1-Cent Maple Leaf Twig Penny Coin Roll. Is it made with copper metal?

JVA nice finds I have found wedding bands that have been lost for over 60 years !! The one i found was in a area 50 by 50 foot . We knew about where it was lost.
Do they have another ring about the size of the lost one that maybe you can get some ID rfeading from ? It may speed up your process.

I don't think I'll find it I looked all over. Problem is the dirt around here has been moved a lot so it could of ended up deep under or in a pile of dirt somewhere

The Canada penny is common yeah just copper I think. This one someone just at some point plated it in gold to wear ir aa a necklace I think

I always find it interesting what I dig out of the ground, even the trash. I would be tickled pink with a gold cuff link. Keep on digging, JVA5th, a add bd congrats on the finds.
