I went out my bike yesterday with the camera and these are some pictures I took. It's pretty much the heat of summer now, but this morning I saw that wheat field out behind me the farmer harvested the outer perimeter of it and the geese are gathering in larger flocks now that some of the goslings have learned to fly. I felt like things on the front range just might be on the downside of the height of the summer season. Sure they'll be plenty of hot days left, but here in the higher elevation we really do move through the 4 seasons rather quickly, but the good thing is none of those seasons are really all that extreme to other parts of the country. We just get a very pleasant dose of all kinds of weather.

Nice, thank you for sharing! :occasion14:

Enjoyed the pictures!

The only birds coming to my feeders lately is a couple of this years House Finches.

Yeah gold finches seem to be increasing in numbers every summer around here. As soon as these sun flowers all drop their seeds, these birds will vanish. I'm seeing more little wren's around this summer also. It's probably all the growth in population and bird feeders people are putting in that attracts more birds here. Maybe there's no need to head up to Montana anymore. :)

I've yet to have a bird move into any of my bird houses. Great pics looks like a serine afternoon

That pic of the sunflower is very cool.
