I have been going to this site for a while now, I have had a lot of posts here on a weekly basis. But lately I haven't been finding a lot, I didn't even bother to post last week, I think I found one bullet. I can't complain though, this site has been a awesome. Once they start clearing the trees for the lots, a lot more will start popping out I'm sure and I plan to be there.
I decided to try doing some electrolysis. I had found this gun wrench a few weeks back. I guess it was too far gone to use this process because it crumbled on me?
Anyway, these were my finds from this weekend. Accept for one great button which was still soaking when I took this pic.
When I found it, I just tossed it in by button holder thinking it was just another eagle button. I was cleaning my finds and was completely surprised. A Virginia button. My second. Like many other buttons from this site, it has this green crusty stuff on it. Does anyone have any idea's how to get it off other than trying to soaking in ammonia for a few weeks?
I really can't complain, so far I have almost filled up 2 display cases, it has been a good ride so far, I have found so many 1st here.
Thanks and HH.
