A few hours in the farm fields today

Hit part of a local farmer's field this morning to find, along with a lot of old iron, an old Scovills eagle button circa early 1800s, an old brass door knob from an old cabinet or small door, an old bullet, a Remington New Rival No 12 shotgun shell head circa early 1900s, and an old domed-2 holed- metal piece with a star motif (any help identifying this would be appreciated).

The star piece and eagle button are nice recoveries!

Nice to see you got out 2M, Looks like you had plenty of targets to dig. I believe the star piece most likely came from a saddle or possible a draft horse harness set-up.
