A few mystery items

I was hunting a Shore line that had a Ferry landing back in late 1700 to late 1800s. I found this strange button looks like Mabe brass and the two other items are lead that has turned white the one looks like a pencil. Please give your opinion.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. But the lead things got me thinking

Maybe an overalls button or jeans button like the others said. I’ve found them dating back to early 1900s. What’s the name say?

The lead could be fishing net weights?

The button has two stars on the sides and it says 2.4.1 on top the patent on bottom

I would look up Levi jeans button history. The button clearly says, "Patent" and "204"

And the pencil thing could be artists white chalk, Chinese markers, conte crayon, etc.(I have an Art BA).
