m going to apologies in advance I dropped my camera and it's now broke so there won't be any pictures.

I picked up a set of salt and pepper shakers they are crystal with sterling and mother of pearl caps along with a oil and vinegar cruet that has sterling caps

I also picked up a small uncut geode and some sterling jewelry the most interesting piece was a necklace that had a filigree pendant that you put perfume balls in and a very large cabochon mahogany obsidian and sterling pendant and about 3 ounces of scrap silver all together paid 30 dollars for everything

Now just get a good working 7 + meg digital camera at the thrift store for less then 20 bucks and your back in business. Thats the kind of camera I use for every thing. A Kodak 6.5 Z650 that was 24 bucks and it was half off yellow tag day. It had the yellow tag.

I've been keeping my eyes open for one, I wish I could just buy a new one but student loans are killer

I'll have to check that out thank you!

Or use your cell phone.

sadly its got a bunch of tiny scratches on the lens so it doesn't focus to well every picture looks foggy

I use a not so expensive 6.0MP Sony that must be 6-7 years old now & even 6.0MP is overkill for everyday photos especially if you upload the pix to websites. I usually resize my images from over 1.5 meg down to under 500KB if I'm going to upload them to a site such as this. Damn descent digital cameras can be found on CL here for very cheap ($20 or less)

I didn't think about checking craigslist I'll start on that, I live next to a medium sized town so hopefully somebody will put one up

The filigree pendant sounds like a vinaigrette or pomander/scent ball. Very popular during the Victorian era to mask the scent of garbage/waste products in the city streets. A photo may help determine if it's a period piece.

Any of those sterling pieces signed?
