Sweet! Look midwestern.

Very nice pieces. I like the one with the serrated edges, first pic.

Thanks. It's my favorite point and has a story behind it. I found this broken one that was a real heartbreaker! Then about 50 feet away and 30 mins later I found that one, my redeemer. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1424896305.802234.webp
My heartbreaker and redeemer.. I know... Kinda corny.

Sweet points! Looks like ya got some other nice artifacts on the table. Let's see em

I can see why they are your favorites. They are NICE!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone!! I'm truly blessed to live in an area so rich with NA history! It's my greatest passion in life! Well.. Except for a few weeks when the morels are coming up:-)ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1424907218.760861.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1424907301.497954.webp

To the left of the measuring tape are all out of one 5 acre field. To the right of it are from another farm about 3 miles from the first.

Well to find a Thebes as a redemption to a broken maccorkle... Id say thats quite the redemption and then a little bit more!!
Nice stuff in the pics... One day i might find an axe... Definitely not holding my breath on that!!
Thanks for sharing

Lots of nice artifacts. I like the pestles

What a terrific display! You've got quite an assortment-- great stuff, thanks

Hey bigjohnnyblue, you've got some nice pieces, all the more if found in just a couple of different acreages.. Especially the number of hard stone artifacts you have. Underneath the picture of the "Thebes " knife is what looks to me like a small Celt with a double beveled edge. If that's the case can you show more pictures? I'm quite interested for I have one very similar.
P.S. If you haven't found an answer for the stone platform piece your son found by the creek, there will be a huge artifact show in Collinsville,iL March7th &8th if you would be interested. Don't sell that piece until you know for sure what it is. It may may not be an Indian artifact, but if it is it could be worth more than you may imagine. I've been around the block a few times with elite pieces, just saying, don't sell it to anyone until you know exactly what it is. Even if it's just an old stone carved inkwell, which would still be pretty cool!

Wow! That's a very nice site assemblage you have put together! Hats off to you.

Thanks a lot Quito! No problem Mark, I'll post some pics of it. The smaller stone pictured with it was found laying right next to it. I've never really considered selling any of my pieces and definitely wouldn't sell any from my honey hole.

My nephew found that platform stone and I still don't know what it is, but would love to find out more about it. Unfortunately collinsville Illinois is about 350 miles away so I'll have to wait for something closer to home, but thanks for the invite.
