A few of todays finds and a couple what is it's

Here are a few of the items I found today detecting a 1780 farm house yard...a buckel of some sort...any ideas? a pewter utensile handle, flaking apart.a gun style item, that had the little metal tube positioned over the long metal rod attached to the handle(no provisions for a trigger)(any clue as to what it is?) and some sort of metal piece with small square cuts into it.I also found but didn't post,a flat(sad) iron,my second of the season. and a Theodore Roosevelt coin or token.any ideas or help would be much appreciated...thank you

The flat metal piece is part of a harmonica reed and I think the "gun" is part of an old umbrella handle.
i kind of thought it might be a harmonica reed,it must have been a very small umbrella, but it's a possibility

well when you think of umbrella don't think so much about a modern one, possibly more along the lines of a parasol.

the shaft is only 4 inches and its not broken off at the end,it's capped.would the shaft be so short on a parasol?

Ah, ok, I just looked closer and here's another idea, It could be part of an old cork gun. I tried google images for a match, and there are similar shaped ones made of wood so possibly an older version of one of those.
