Went out on Tuesday found a couple bases, another pottery sherd, part of a drill and a buffalo rib section
The bases, first one I missed at first trying not have a million pics but it is worked both sides
The pottery plain but maybe someday I’ll have enough pieces to make a pot
Next at first I thought it was some weird blob of worked stone but looking closer there’s a break where there was probably a projection like a drill or punch
Last I’m going with buffalo rib, it was maybe a foot down on an very productive site, size would make it a cow or buffalo but the thing that I think puts it over the top are the cut marks
I’ll throw one more in, another section of bone that is quite thick probably buffalo again but if I’m not mistaken shows a spiral break and a divot…. My interpretation is the divot is where they struck the bone to crack it open for the marrow
