Nice pieces. Must be neat to be able to find them that close to home.

Good finds man. I agree with Twitch, wish I could walk out the door and be in to something.

Thanks Twitch, It's a love-hate kinda thing. Love finding artifacts, but hate having to clear land to find them. My garden does get a little bigger every year.

Cleared some land near our garden to build a shop and found a few keepers. A decent Savannah River, a broken knife, a graver and a triangle knapping stone. Maybe not in that order. H.H.

With finds like that, I doubt I would end up with straight rows. They would probably be longer than initially planned as well. Lol! Nice finds and I hope your garden does well. We all need to start planting food. It's the only way we will drive the price of our grocery bill down!

I like that hammer stone but everything looked good.

so triangles like that are called knapping stones? I had no idea. I'm always frustrated when I see something I know is Something- but don't know exactly what. So I leave them. Knapping stone. Learn something new every day. Thanks for that! Yak

I guess you could just call it a hammerstone. It was found with a few other hammerstones surrounded by flakes and cores.

the top right and bottom right look like they could of come of the core you posted too...same rock type? further proof it is a core.
