I went for a stroll and managed a few keepers. I found a few shards small buckle. Some Victorian looking object that has gold plating. Some ring with the leather attached still, buckle. The site is 1800s

Interesting pieces there. I now have to look up gold plating in earlier years seeing how I thought it was more a modern thing.

I guess you learn something new every day.
